Hi all,

I'm having some problems with my gn right now. So the previous owner threw on in a K&N cone and cut off part of the orginal intake tube to use that going into the engine. It looked realllly bad so i went and bought some intake tubing from jegs and a new cone to make it look better. Well now the check engine light is on. Took it in to my mechanic and he said its from the air temp sensor. I drilled a hole in the tubin and placed the sensor in there.

So i was reading up on these forums and saw a post that you have to place the sensor in the boot of the filter, is this correct? Or do i need to get a new sensor? Its all homemade, i want it to work right. Dont get me wrong it still runs great, but when your taking it out on a date and the girl sees this... doesnt look that good haha.

Thanks!

Most people put it right in the rubber neck on the K&N filter. That's where mine is. Are you sure you didn't damage the wire to the sensor while shuffling things around?
