Rear End Gear Fluid ?

What rear end gear fluid should I use and what additive if any should I use to elliminate rear end from chattering when making a turn at slow speed.Thanks.ikle.

Lately I've been using the royal purple 75w-90 since it says it has limited slip in it. Seems to be fairly quiet and I don't have to add the gm limited slip additive.

me too! rear was noisy so i changed it to the royal purple. no problems.

No synthetic !! No additive unless you have a lot of chattering around corners. The additive allows the clutches to 'slip' so you don't get chatter, but can eventually wear out the rear end. I assume yours is posi.
