rear driveshaft loop installation

Need advice on installing a Competition Engineering C3029 rear driveshaft safety loop. Position appears to be critical, but instructions are not that precise. Information on exactly where to weld to the frame would be greatly appreciated. Other safety loops would also be of interest.

Thanks,

A front hoop is more important. You can position the rear so that the drive shaft will not hit the ground if it breaks free. This is more dangerous in the front as an end-over-end flip is not so cool when the drive shaft drops and digs into the street/ track. Never seen a good enough body man that can fix one of those mishaps. The Kirbans front hoop is the coolest unit I have seen and no welding or drilling.

Thanks

RJC Racing has a nice bolt on for about 60$

It replaces the factory floor pan brace..no drilling..no welding.

I have one and I like it.
