Rear control arms

I am going to buy rear suspension, what is everyone using? totally stock 87 GN 31k, doing all braces and rear susp. before any mods. Looking for advice?? Steve

I have the UMI tubular lowers and they are just peachy.

I also have the "ATR" sway bar and the car really handles well

I too have the UMI tubular lowers and ATR 1 3/8" sway bar. I also went with the UMI adj. upper control arms and Eibach springs (Bilsteins already installed). I cannot comment on how it handles as I have not gotten it all installed yet... :redface:

What are your goals I see you state before other mods. Do you plan to race this car a little bit. I would look into HR suspension if you are. I am currently installing their rear sway bar.

daily driver

i use the hr bar and metco lowers no issues the ride is tons better and i removed the front bar too stable at speed ... daily driver 11's @ 119 mph so far..

Are you guys using adjustables or the fixed control arms??? This is my first buick, I plan on suspension a good tune to get the car running great as a stocker then a few bolt ons. Steve

I use non-adjustable lowers but don't follow my lead as I am slow for a TR....

my lowers are metco solid pieces non adjustable i also have a set or metco adjustable uppers which i didn't install yet because i'm too lazy.... sometime in the spring they're going in..
