real confusing idle?

i start up the car and it idles high at about 2000 like normal t.b.'s usually do but wont come down to idle and then the car stalls. sometimes it smokes black before stalling. tried to rplace the tps but that didnt help. maybe egr or vaccume/boost leak? also wonderin if turbo is blown due to the black smoke. fuel pressure seems okay.. any suggestions?

Could be wrong but sounds Like you either have a vacunm leak Or go thround you IAC and TPS gain.Black is gas.Check aplug to see color.

Fuel pressuer

What injecters are you running? and what is FP> set at. When it idles.
Mileage could be a factor. Do you live in NY? If not hook either a scanner or fuel pressure guage. To the fuel rail. Also,long shot but do you have a chip init.Also plug the hose that goes to FR. I use golf t's can't play at all..
Just trying to help...Is your regulator stock? I know this is a pain but once I started to do my own stuff. Takes a while but it's all good. HTH'ed.let me know...Rob
