My fan only turns on high if my ac turns on or if i ground a wire on a relay on the drivers side. Otherwise it stays low all the time. Is this normal? My car sees temp in the 190's on hot days.

S scottyb Spongebob Squarecar Joined Oct 12, 2001 Jun 3, 2002 #2 Not 100% certain, but here goes: Low speed - controlled by chip, some start at 170 (stock 195 ??) High speed - controlled by AC OR if temp goes to 210 (??) OR your manual switch. Prolly close.
