What does the black wire plug into from the back of the radio? The orange and brown are for the antenna?

What about the black Wire coming out of the back of the radio that's usually taped to the back of radio.

I connected mine to ground and everything works.

that 12 pin connector is for the twilight sentinel option. it hooks up to the amplifier,

Got radio "working", but there seems to be no power (amp). Do you think I have a wire crossed somewhere? Also the clock rests and stations aren't remember once ignition is turned off.

I try to turn up the volume and it gets really distorted like there's no power (amp) to the speakers. Could there be a wire crossed? I know the "hot" wire isn't connected because the clock and preset radio stations aren't remembered and reset.

Do u have ur positive & negative crossed on the speakers? They can sound a oil' distorted if they are or u will lose mid-range in the speakers (from my understanding).
