quick release steering wheel

has anyone ever installed a quick release steering wheel kit onto a stock GM tilt steering colum and used the stock gn steering wheel? looking for part numbers or any info. thanks. Len

Doubt that the Grant or similar type removable wheels will be acceptable to NHRA specs?

Any adapter must be welded to the steering shaft per NHRA. Local shops will not weld to the stock shaft as it probably will not work with all the stuff, like turn signals, in the column?

bump this....so the MarkWilliams one works but we'd need to fab a spacer or something to be able to get your fingers in to quick release it?
