Question about my TPS reading at WOT

I recently had my TTA tuned and all the numbers on the scanmaster at idle are near pefect. Example, my BL is 129 and my TPS is .42
My concern is that I read somewhere that the TPS at WOT should be around 4.0 or higher, mine reads 3.86 at WOT
What exactly is the function of the TPS and should I be concerned that it is only getting to 3.86 and if it should be higher, how do I get it higher ?
Thanks

Your idle numbers look pretty good. TPS @ WOT is ususlly around 4.6....BUT, I think the PCM treats anything above about 3.6 or 3.8 as WOT....

Is your floor mat restricting the accelerator pedal movement?

:)

I also think the ecm "sees" WOT after a certian MAF reading. So, after "X" flow, the computer knows you are in the boost.

I had the same EXACT problem, the highest mine is reading is 3.86. I am gettting a TPS booster to fix it. hth.

do a search on other posts. Its mentioned that all you need to do is make one of the slots for the screw a little longer to give it more movement range. No extenders are needed, just a simple drill bit and couple minutes.
