Question about Brake light (In dash)

Recently my in dash brake light will come on for a split second if I have to get on the brakes quickly, if I gently apply the brakes it does not come on. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be causing this. Thanks for any help...

Sounds like you need a new accumulator. It is the big black ball on the side of the powermaster. This is a rather common problem with this system. That's why I converted to vacuum.

I have the same problem. Got some information from my question on Jan. 7. You might look at it. i'm thinking of going to the vacuum conversion. It is cheaper than replacing the accumulator. From what I've heard, the factory brake system is a constant source of expensive problems.
