Q about Gbody gas tanks...

Are all gbody gas tanks the same? I have a Malibu gas tank I would like to put in my Buick GN. Thanks.

No gn gas tanks have baffles inside to keep fuel around the pump at all time. BUT the physical out side size/shape of the g body tanks are all the same. i havent heard anyone complain about running out of fuel during full boost and mess anything up but you should have 1/2 tank at all time just in case of ricers and stang drivers. hope that helps.

I have a malibu and have a gn tank in it no problems.

I used a GN tank in my Cutlass with a Walbro pump. I have had to change the pump 3 times, each time having to drop the tank. I wanted to make it as close to a GN setup as possible. Afterwards, I realized and wished I would have just sumped my stock tank and ran an external pump. Maybe I will some day, too bad I gave away the original tank.
