I decided to go with a PSC remote reservoir for my hydroboost system. I had issues with pump whine and aeration inside the res. The PSC has a great way of baffling the fluid through a means of running the inlets at the bottom as well as filtering the oil and reducing aeration. All oil coming in from the return gets filtered.
Now here is the bad part. Where the hell do you mount it? It's rather large in size. It needs to face a certain way to run the lines. The lines cannot face the AC pump because of clearance. If the res is raised for line clearance the res will hit the hood. I wanted AC so I had to come up with a mount. It just happened to fit nicely with the lines running toward the fire wall. I have a straight shot to the HB return, I will 90* the pump feed directly to the pump, and 180* the gear box return under the res back to the gear. SO here is the mount in pure "make it up as you go" form. I used some left over brackets from a hot air car, twisted some angles, and made a mounting plate for the res to fit in. I attached the mount right off the accessory bracket which holds the ac compressor on, and the bracket that goes to the headers... It fits like a glove.
SO for others that have puzzled themselves on where to mount...see the pics.
