I haven't tallied all of the costs, but it wasn't the 4.1 build described at Turbobuicks.com. It has a forged crank & pistons, roller cam, billet center caps, BHJ balance and J&W flexplate. I bought the shortblock for roughly $3800.00, without the roller cam kit which added $799 to the cost. All the 3.8 parts fit.
