I'm about to install a set of ported iron heads from Nick M. I'm also considering getting the matched ported lower intake.

As part of my upgrades, I'm going to install a power plate for my stock intake plenum.

Just wanted to make sure the power plate for a stock upper intake would still flow the air evenly with a ported lower intake and heads. I didn't think it would be an issue, just making sure :)

Thanks,

So, let's follow your thought process. Here are your options, in no particular order:

1. No PP and stock lower
2. PP and stock lower
3. No PP and ported lower
4. PP and ported lower

The answer is obvious (hint 4.).

Hey Jeff as Strike had say's run the PP.

It is designed to even the air to each cylinder, the ported intake and heads just lets that evened air flow through them with less restrictions.

Appreciate the responses. I already have the plate and intend to run it. I just wanted to make sure it would work properly with a ported lower. Just ordered the ported lower intake from Nick.

Thanks again,
Jeff
