Posting Pictures

I know this is newbie ass question but how do I post a thumbnail photo? I tried posting a photo but it only showed up as a link.
Also tried searching the subject and good search via turbobuick "xxxx" Figured it might help others as well.

I generally host pix elsewhere and post em like that but there is the ability to upload your pix into a post.

Found a ez to use free site Postimages — free image hosting / image upload

from their homepage click 'choose images', then select your photo, upload it and a list of posting options will show up

i copy the 'thumbnail for forums' link for a small photo or 'hotlink for forums' for a large photo, then paste the link into my post, wala done and free.
