popping backfire

I been chasing a popping (backfire) problem i've had for a while. I read a lot about it & everyone seemed to point me in the direction of the coil. So i went ahead & ordered an ac delco coil. but to my surprise i get it & it says made in china. I wonder if i'll have problems. anyone else see this as a problem?

Did you check the coil resistance? There are several things that can cause a backfire!

My car was backfiring when I had a vacuum leak, that and running like crap.

I used caspers spark test tool & one of the Sparks was flaring up. Not sure if that really meant it was bad since I'm new to that type of testing.
