ok, i don't have a lot of experience with these piping couplers.

i'm thinking of getting turbonetics couplers.

now. will 3" hump hose go on 3" one side & 3 1/4" on the other side with no problems ? i want it to work fine AND look good.
or will it deform somehow ? i like the way the hump looks, and do want to deform it much.

and/or

will 3" to 3 1/4" transition hose have flex to it ?

i need to order these soon. but i just don't know exactly what to get, and they are not cheap. one mistake will cost $$or$$$

thanx

i tried doing a search, will try some more now.

I assume you are talking about intercooler pipe hoses.

What Intercooler/turbo combo are you running? What diameter pipes?

I've gotten hoses from Precision Turbo in the past. Very nice hose, and if you give them the lengths you need, they'll cut it for you.

i'm doing a powerstroke FM, it has 3 1/4" in/out. compressor out is 2 3/4" . and i'm using 3" pipes. i'm thinking 3" humps will get the job done, AND look good ???

Not sure which PS Intercooler you are using (I have the all aluminum version), but I used 3" to 2.5" reducer hose (the long one, not short) from Precision Turbo. It was a tight fit, but with a little WD40 (I use it on ALL my hoses - never had one blow off) it went on fine.
