Saw him last nite at Foxwoods casino. Plays better than ever. Was a big fan of his when he was in Humble Pie. His double live album was required to be owned by all rock fans. The girls loved it so it had to be in your cassette player in the car at all times.

Been 35 years since that album came out and he is doing a tour celebrating the anniversary. Foxwoods made him do an abbreviated show but it was still great, the guy can flat out play. Did pretty much the whole album and then did While my guitar gently weeps by George Harrison for the encore.

Guess Foxwoods puts a 2 hour limit on their concerts so the people get out of there to hit the casinos. He got pissed when some dumb bitch kept asking him to talk to a friend on her cell phone right in the middle of him doing a song.

My wife went to see him with the girls on July 1st when he was in Danbury CT and he played for 3 hours!

Still have my

Frampton comes alive t-shirt from the 70s . Man can play .. But i still love stevie ray vaughn & miss him .. But peter comes in at a close second .. Its still better then what there playing on the radio today ..

ALRIGHT!!!!! Glad you heard him, Mark...one hot guitar player there, I mean, he knows his stuff.

Did he use the talk box like he did in the old days? It's a tube that runs up the mike stand that he puts his mouth over and the sound of his guitar comes out of the tube (from a small amp box on the floor which picks up the signal from the guitar pickups) and he shapes the sound with his mouth which the mike picks up...I thought that was the coolest thing back then. I believe he was the first to use this technique.

Did he have his black, triple pickup Les Paul? If so, it's his replacement....long time ago, his original one that he made famous burnt up in a plane crash...he was heartbroken for years over this.

That Frampton is just slick....a great musician.

Glad you like him and got to hear him play....he's a staple of Rock and Roll and one original player....I loved that old song "Show me the way"....sigh, makes me think of my old girlfriend from back then.....well, back to reality....an old married man..... dying fast..

Yeah, he used the talkbox. He was getting the crowd worked up prior to using it and that is when the beyotch in the crowd kept bugging him with her cell phone.

Have seen him 3 times in the past few years. Klein Auditorium in Bridgeport, Mohegan Casino and now Foxwoods. Would prefer to see concerts in a non-casino atmosphere to keep the comp ticket people out.

He probably switched out guitars almost every other song. Heard he lost a lot of his favorites in the recent floods where he lives. Poor guy is going thru another divorce right now too. Life on the road takes it toll I guess. Of course, he won't have any problem getting some company even at 61 and with no hair.:D The ladies still love him.

I can't believe that woman, Mark! So crass!

Another divorce....didn't know that. He's such a great guitar player I'D marry him, but my wife would kill me.

My God!! 61!!!! I've lost track of time here, I can still see him from the album of Frampton Comes Alive here, man, times changes people...and didn't know he was bald...can't picture Frampton bald, but as long as he's got the licks and the women, who cares?

Thanks for filling me in....hope to hear him, too, someday.

Wow, Bob!!! Thanks for the pictures! That's a Martin guitar that Frampton is holding there, looks like a D41. Hunt's looks to be a Taylor.

Man, must be nice. Thanks for sharing....finally got to see Frampton as he looks today.

I saw him in Springfield, Mass. in 1976 or 1977 I get those two years mixed up sometimes.:p:biggrin:

Great show with J Geils opening up.

I still remember his hot blonde girlfriend side stage, I think I watched her more than the band.
