Part No. for the 140 amp alternator

My alternator is dying and I wanted to upgrade to the 140 amp alternator. I was searching on the board and could not find a part number for the 140 amp alternator. Specifically, I'm looking for the 140 amp alternator that uses the mounting bolt on the back.

In my search on the board I read that there are some 140 amp alternators that do not have the provision for the bolt on the back and there were some that did. The part numbers that I came across were the ones that did not use the mounting bolt.

Unless you have some elaborate electrical add on components you do not need a larger capacity alternator.

i had same prob . a shop in my area just rebuilt mine for 75.00 , maybe they can do the same for u . in your town . good luck with it.:smile:
