Overboost

My car is bone stock and runs pretty well but it seems that on long pulls at WOT, like up a hill at say, 55 it wants to overboost and ping like crazy. What would cause this and how do I fix it? I've checked all the vacuum lines and everything seems ok.

Might be the wastegate solonoid. Bypass it and see if it still does it. Do you have an accurate boost gauge or are you trying to use the stock one? Most of our cars are tuned to the point that running wide open throttle up a hill is a bad ideal and they all will usually detonate a little. If it doesn't show any knock going WOT on a flat straightaway, your probably alright. Just take it easy on the hills or turn the boost down. Your running 93oct right?
