There is a notch on the oil pump gear. Does that have to be up or down? Or does it not matter.
I'm under the car and it the lat thing i need to do to get it started.
There's a notch on the bottom of the gear with the shaft and one on the other gear. I'd put the idler gear with the notch facing down, the same way as the gear with the shaft.
