Non brf Governor

I thought about it some more and see where you are going with the heavy on the small weight and none on big weight.
I never had it explained but I think I am starting to see how it works. It is steady bleeding until the output/driveshaft is spinning fast enough to hold both weights out and stopping the bleed and sending the elevated pressure to the shift valve in the valve body. The spring just forces the bleed while at low/no speed. I am guessing the brf vb has a stiffer spring in the vb as it doesn't get near as much bleed with no spring on big weight and a smaller small weight and a light spring on it so it requires a bunch of output speed to stop the bleed. Oh wait, that may mean brf has lighter springs to get it to shift even though . I'll have to study and think on it somemore.
Oh and one more thank you to ttype6 who took time to speak with me on the phone and give me a bunch of assembly pointers.
Thanks all who help out Here. Without it I doubt I would have tried an overhaul.
