Had a great time. Thumbs up to Dick Walker and gang. A good time once again. Every year at this race it reminds me why I come down. Racing for bragging rights can be more fun than racing for money. Human pride is a powerful thing. lol.
PS: The ugly flat Black 455 Buick Apollo(ok ok, it "looks" like a Nova.lolol.)did what I asked her to do. Get down that treacherous left lane and bring home a win for team Buick.
Outstanding for me and even better was that my teammates, known and unknown, put a whuppin' on the Fords this year.
Congrats to all who made it happen.

The event was awesome. We brought 3 buicks and came back with two running and two new best ETs. My car went 11.03 at 122.7 (couldn't get the boost up past 22) and our 86 went 11.09 at 126 mph. We ran our silver T but on its first pass on saturday it blew the headgaskets (went 12.2 at 117 on a botched pass the night before). Does anybody have the list of qualifying times? I was curious what it ran on its qualifying pass because my friend didn't get a timeslip after the run. The car was B552 and only made one pass.

Had a really good time too. I ran my best time as well and Clay made his first 10 sec pass in the GTO like I predicted. I'd like to thank Clay as well for racing my car during eliminations. My wedding ring fell off and I wanted to look for it instead of race, so he ran it for me. (Found the ring today in the dryer with the clothes I wore to Noble). I've got some pics I'll put up when I get a chance.

with that much HP something has to give, i'm sure he doesn't mind working on it. great pics, i was told of the ford VS GM shootout. when is this going on again. i would love to drive up and take a peek at some other buicks and other cars. looks like alot of fun and i agree with the poster that said racing for fun is better then money sometimes. it's not worth the hassle of a sore loser if caacaa gets out of hand.

I know its late but Ill throw my pics in here. First set is Clay, Me, and Ricky in our pit area. Ricky blew a headgasket in his second qualifying run. I asked him if he was seeing any knock on the scanmaster and he said I dont have one
