I may be doing some dyno runs for the first time next week. I've never done this before and am just looking for some do's and don'ts. The place says they do wide band O2 testing via a sensor in the tailpipe. They also allow the owner to drive the car.

Given my combo (see sig) the best gas I can get my hands on is the Sunoco GT (100) and I have a Jay C 100 chip to use. I'm guessing I can get around 21-22 lbs out of that, hopefully around 43 lbs of fuel pressure.

I did read from a search that I should bring RPMs in third gear to around 3000 and punch it from there to avoid a downshift into second. Should I have the car in Drive or OverDrive so I don't accidentally smack the rev limiter? I will be watching my scanmaster's knock readouts and the factory tach is way too innacurate, so I'll have to ballpark where I am RPM wise while I'm WOT.

Any safety tips, hints, suggestions are welcomed!

Drive, and ezzz out of the gas instead of letting off quickly, not good for the tranny to do that on a dyno I'v been told.:(
