Looks good. I was going to get the same style rims for my car (Weld Alumastar) but found a killer deal on draglites.
What is all done to your car?

What converter are you running. Your 28" tall tires might be perfect

Is it a lu? Have you ever figured your converter slip % I'm getting around 7% slip, and I think I'm close to my MPH limit for the 1/4. I'm running stock heads and cam though. I'm around 118 MPH. I'll find out for sure this spring.

Dave, I have gone 11.18 @ 119 on 255/50-16's (26") locked the converter around 95-100 (~1/8 mile mark) w/1.53 60' and 11.23 @ 124 on 295/55-15's (28") w/1.48 60' but forgot to lock the converter all with stock rear/gears, stock heads and cam...GT67763 with 3600 9/11 locking converter. I'm running 24-26psi and leave off the trans brake at 12-16 psi.

Sweet! I know Sweet6 went 124 MPH on 26" tires. He was running a multi disc lu. With my old 6152 I hit 119, but couldn't 60' it. I'm thinking I can get in the 10's this spring. End of Summer last year I was getting consistent 1.48 60' times off the foot brake. Since then I've added lower control arms with relocation brackets, and sub frame connectors. Hopefully I didn't disturb the geometry, and it slows it down. I was running super rich with only 18° timing. Around 26-27 psi. 11.2@117.6

Nice...I just installed some Lakewood 90/10 drag struts (still have sway bar for now) last Fall but haven't run it yet. Rear was upgraded a few years ago: TRZ dbl adj chrome moly lower control arms, adj pan hard bar and Strange dbl adj coil over drag shocks. I'm using thew without the coil overs for now and still using the stock rear V6 springs. I do have a set of sub frame connectors but they aren't helping sitting on the garage floor along with a new Currie 9"...maybe this summer after I get the new motor up and running! I did blow my stock ring gear after about 5 consecutive 16psi 1.48 60' trans brake launches...the car now has a set of 3.70 NITRO gears in it. The new gears improved street performance a bunch but I haven't tried them at the track.

I'm still using stock springs and struts. I have a 9" with 3.23 gears. My sub frame connectors are still on my garage floor too!
