Luis make sure the new starter has the terminals on the solenoid clocked in the right place. I tried that once and it was 180 degrees out. The starter wires would not stretch that far.

Motor looks good. What are the plans for this because I know you are not leaving this stock.

Thanks! I will check that. I didn't know that could happen but thanks for the heads up. This engine is actually gonna be my smog motor. I'm in California where they are really strict so I'm gonna comply till I get the itch to go faster! Lol

Looking good.

Old tricks are the best. Don't they make a downpipe that will get rid of the cast elbow? That is free horsepower right there.

I believe gbody offers a 3" downpipe but I'm budget conscious right now cause I got so many things going on. Maybe next time around I'll be able to add the 3" dp. I just mocked up my speed daddy headers & was truly disappointed on how much work they'll need to make them work. If I had more time I'd probably get it done but I wanna have my car ready for a this summer.

The paint looks great but I have a sugestion on the alt brkt grind off the powder coat/paint on both sides and use some external washers when you put the ring terminal wires on so you get a good ground. See ya! John
