new guy in lynchburg, formerly richmond

Don't feel bad I am even further out there..*L* I am a little under two hours southwest of you. Welcome

Yep just over the mountain.....now that is the middle of no where. I'm sure you made the better choice on location.

Both my parents grew up in Lynchburg and moved to the BIG city! LOL
They went to E.C. Glass high school, or something like that. My last relative died on V.E.S. road at the old folks home who lived there.
Grandad lived untill 97! I like Lynchburg alot, but poor ecomony from what I remember.

There actually is a guy who has some fast Buicks near you. I think Anderson Performance could tell you about the locals. He may do a little work here and there. The guy I'm thinking of is the animal Doc with a back-halfed T-type. He has a few more cars I think?

definately a depressed area. I got laid off from one of the biggest employers around in Jan.

I liked Tazewell, until I read about the oxycodone problem there, and no jobs to be had.
