I'm redoing my car and want to do a good system. I have some left over components that I'd like to reuse but isn't necessary. I've got 2 MB Quart reference 1000 watt (1ohm) and 1 200X4 (2 ohm) MB Quart referance amp. I also have 2 alpine type R 10" woofers. I plan on using only one of the 1000s to power the 2 10s @ 1 ohm and build a box to put on the shelf in the trunk. I can get a good deal on 6.5 or 5.25 premium MB Quart component sets but I'm not sure I care for their aluminum tweeter. I think I prefer a silk tweeter. I've also got the q-form kick panels as well.
What do you think for GOOD speakers in the front and rear?
I'm looking at the alpine IVA-D100 for a head unit. I've got a Blackbird that will interface with it plus I like the USB interface option. I'm not sure about the flip out thing though.
I'm also looking at the JVC EXAD KD-AVX2 for head units. I think it would look sweet and I've been told it sounds good as well.
