Ok Guys I need just a little help on this.
I have put in a new cam sensor by marking the old one and putting the new one in the same way.I think it's right? My first time doing one.
The car starts and runs, But feels like it is missing or sputtering a little.
Could the cam sensor cause this?
I just took the car out for a 25 Mile ride and thats what I got.
The idle is a little rough.
I guess what I'm asking is could this be if I got the sensor off a little?
The car ran fine before But had a loud tapping sound from the front of the motor. The tapping is gone now.
The new sensor is a GM sensor.(if that helps)
Thanks for any Help.

You need to follow the instructions for installing the sensor by placing the balancer at 25 ATDC. A few degree's is easy to be of on.. especially when eye-balling an adjustment.

Since your working on the car, buy the tool from caspers and get it set correctly. That way your not second guessing your self and posting on the forums

Razor Thank you for the reply.
I do have the Caspers Tool.
I should have just done it that way to begin with, But it was my first time ever doing it and was told the way I did it would work. Now I know.
Thank you again!!!
