never used windshield wipers

I have owned my TR for 13 years and it just occured to me that I have never used the windshield wipers before. I don't think I have even tested them in the time I have owned it. Obviously, the car has never seen anything but sunshine. Anyone else have a "no rain" streak intact?

You will someday have a streak across your windshield, when they fuse themselves to the cowl trim and tear the first time you turn them on.....ask me how I know!

I bet I haven't used the wipers on my Camaro in a few years, the combination of military aviation water repellent and a very raked windshield means no wipers even in a downpour.

Ah, good point. I should probably at least change the blades.

Another problem is the grease inside the motor hardens and they will usually run slow. Maybe take the arms off and run the motor for a while.
