Needed: GN hood - with original paint

I'm in need of a replacement hood for my '87 GN.

A box fell off a shelf over the car (my fault...), and I ended up with a nasty
dent in the front of the hood.

I've had two real good paintless dent repair guys look at it, and they both said NG.

I need a GN hood that has good original paint, with no dings,
no checking, and no rust. I don't mind having to color sand/buff/polish.
I've got the products for that.

I'm hoping that someone has a nice original hood, that they took off to put on a fiberglass hood,
or has one from parting out a wrecked GN.

I'm located in Fishkill, NY (Dutchess County) - I'll travel just about any place
on the East Coast for a nice hood, that is reasonably priced.

Is there really nobody that has a good GN hood, with good original paint ?

One taken off to install a glass hood ?

One from a parts car ?

Can anyone suggest any other sites I should be using to try and locate one ?

Need original steel hood in good condition

Thats all I can locate - fiberglass hoods, and one N.O.S. hood.
I'm trying to keep my car all original, but its looking like I may have to
have the body work and paint done to fix it - it stands out like a sore thumb the way it is now...

yea N.O.S hoods seem to be very expensive these days,but yea,continue searching until u get your car in for repairs,maybe you will get lucky
