Need to remove pressure switch, what tool?

There is actually a special socket that you are "supposed to" use.
But you can use a standard deep well socket if you have the right size.
Most end up with a pair of channel lock pliers.
If you use pliers, be VERY careful not to squeeze the outer dimensions of the switch and end up breaking the internal seal when you put the new one on.

AND - always pump the system down before you begin.
10 (or so) pedal pumps with the ign key off. The pedal will get quite firm if it isn't already. The ps of the fluid bowl fill fill up as well. If it already is, you may want to remove some of the fluid if you don't know that the system is already pumped down.

I'll verify it, but I don't think an 1-1/16" is big enough for the P/M switch.
