Did the MP Brakes conversion kit to vacuum about 5 years ago, and the Master Cylinder just died. I checked the MP Brakes site and they want $500 for a Master, and that's just insane.

So, we tried a master cylinder from O'Reilly auto parts that was made for a 3.8 liter NA Regal. We got no assist.

Does anyone who has done the MP Brakes conversion know what off the shelf master will work?

I just to my master off my car I also have the MP vacuum conversion. I changed it because I went Baer 6 piston caliper front and rear so I needed different size MC let me take a pic and post it if you want it make me an offer. It has zero miles on it.

Yeah did the conversion and then the car just sat never drove it so it has had fluid in it and bled but no miles just in and out of garage.

Thanks for that.

I'm looking into what it would take to get the '87 NA 3.8 master that we tried, to work. It's probably just a matter of trying the correct NA booster, but if that doesn't work, I'll make you an offer tomorrow,
