Well the car went back on the road yesturday and I'm in the process of tuning it up. I've been trying to figure out a tip in throttle stumble for awhile, but I waited until I got some scan tool #'s to post. I hooked the scan tool up and check IAC and TPS. TPS was at .55V at idle and IAC is in the mid 60's. I set the TPS to .38V at idle without any problem. The IAC however is a different story. I tried both methods of resetting the IAC on gnttype.org and neither worked. Adjusting the minimum air rate on the throttle body only gets a lowest reading of 58, after that the rpms get too high for idle. So I tried the GM service manual method. With the IAC unpluged it idled at 2400 rpm. I dunno whats going on. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi Nasty.
Try this method.
run your car until it gets to operating temperature.
next shut it down.
turn key on,eng off. use a jumper wire, and jump aldl terminals
A+B. walk over and unplug your IAC motor.(you should be able
to feel it pulsing before you unplug it.)
next, remove jumper from aldl, and start it up.
check idle, and adjust throttle screw as necassary, along with
tps voltage,I like .42V
shut it down, replug IAC,and start it up.
That should do it,if not, probably in the program, depending what
the desired idle is programmed in the chip.

hope i've helped.
you planning on going to the track anytime soon?
let me know,I want to go.
my car is pretty much ready to rock.
