Need help with my RPM'S?

hello guys, im having problems with my rpms they are all over the place. sometimes they are normal, now recently they tend to get stuck around 2000rpm. This is while is idle, but when i put it in gear it drops to 1100rpm. Any suggestions on what may cause this.

Scan tool? What are the IAC, TPS, MAF numbers? You could have a vacuum leak somewhere.

i just order my scanmaster from full throttle.
