need help with back spacing

I found two rear wheels for sale local. The size are15x8 3 3\4 back space. I'm putting 275 50 dr on them. Will I have to roll the lip or get spacers for this setup? I was looking for wheels that will be a direct bolt on and sit nice with correct back spacing.I have a 87 gn that these are going on. Thansk

I am running a 15x8 Centerline with 275/60R15 MT drag radials on the rear of my car and have roughly an inch between the tires and frame. Make certain the rearend is centered and there shouldn't be any issues, except possibly when crossing uneven surfaces.

big difference between a 275/60 to a 275/50 .

I had a pair of MT 275/50/15 DR's mounted on my stock GN rims, which have a 4" backspace. They fit inside the fenderlips...barely. I think you'll run into problems with a 3 3/4" backspace.

What would be the back spacing for 15" wheel with the 275 50? I'm willing to roll the fender if needed. I'm trying to go to the track and not have anu issues. Thanks guys
