Need help car dying and throwing codes

I was driving my TTA today and all of the sudden the ses lite flashed and it died and would not restart. I finally got it restarted and drove it back home and just before I got back it started to die and throwing all kinds of codes (I had my scanmaster to the mal function) at first it was a 23 and 24 and then alot of other numbers and a code 55 was one of them is this more than likley a ECM or chip problem? The ECM was redone is for 72# injectors and the chip is a extender chip. There does not seem to be any code stored in the ecm. any thoughts on what to look for?

i think you're on the right track.lots of codes usually means bad ecm/connections or chip(s) loose.try chip first and clean and make sure in snaps in tight HTH.

Could the mass sensor cause this? Would the ECM pick up all the codes as it died and caught itself and sputter then died again it went thru many many different code numbers. Thanks, Jason
