Need an 8.5" near Chicago

hey guys, new member but I've been lurking for a while. a lil about me: 83monte carlo SS, 383, 350 trans, 2500 stall

my 7.5" couldnt handle my 383 anymore, it put up with a lot these past 3-4 years but now i need to upgrade. looking for a complete 8.5" rear end preferably posi. anyone have a spare?

Its a 3.42 posi from a G/N

85-87 olds 442 had a 8.5 rear with 3.73 but of the 5 of the 442's i had none were posi

sorry, have a lead on a 3.42 posi (with spare 3.90 set) very close to my town for less money that i am considering. thanks for the offer though!




still looking for other 3.73 posi rear ends though!
