Most miles, and least miles, you got off a turbo?

My stock turbo got the living daylights beaten out of it for about 220K and when the oil covered wastegate hose would pop off, the turbo would still blow massive boost.
My Turbonetics went 15K miles when my O2 sensor broke and killed it. Then a MAF screen broke and killed the other side. But even with a munched stock crank, lots of bearings, and two wiped cams = none of that metal ever bothered the turbo. Makes me wonder about contamination claims some have evoked when turbos have had problems
