Will the 85 monte carlo ss front coil springs work ok in a turbo buick? I believe the monte has a 305 v8, I'm not sure if there would be a significant difference in weight.

Not from a junkyard
My buddy has the monte, He threw in a set of Eibach lowering springs in his car and gave me his old stock springs, they are in perfect shape, still can read the tag and his car didn't sag before he took them out.

Monte Carlo SS cars had the F41 suspension which was far superior to the F40 (I think) suspension in our TRs. My 90k mile SS had all original shocks and struts and handled super well to the point that stuff rattled in the car. I wouldn't drop them in the TR without cutting a coil off the top first.
