mid50's - mid 60's Buicks post your favorite

Mid 50's Buicks have allways been one of my favorites. They are much better lookin cars then the Tri Five Chevys. I'd take one of these over a Tri 5 anyday of the week. Got to love those grilles and classic Buick portholes. The amount of chrome on these babies must have added a couple hundred pounds to the weight of these cars. The cost of these cars are getting higher every year. Just happened to run across this beautiful Buick thought I'd post the pic. Some great bodywork done on this Classic.

I think 57 Buicks are definitely my favorite of the breed.

Highway Patrol - The Broderick Crawford 1955 Buick Special

Mine is the 1955 CHP Century. A hybrid model that was made by crossbreeding a 66R with a 46R. Take that 57 Chevy Black Widow!

'53 Wildcat...

Whe I was an 11 years old kid, my father bought a new '63 Buick Wildcat convertible (the one pictured is a 4 door... ), burgundy with tan interior...it was a gorgeous car!...It's one of the cars we sold that I wish I could have it back!

That's CHP clone is a nice ride. Wasn't it featured in a Car Mag? Broderick Crawford Special a very clean rare example of the CHP cars. Even the spot lights are correct for the year. My grandfather had a 55 Buick Special small V8 with a Dynaflow, 2 tone kind of a turquoise and white with the bigger fancier hubcaps not the dog dish. I agree That 55 BuickCHP car is definately nicer then the 57blackwidow. Wildcats they are way cool a convetible would definately be a keeper.

1961 Invicta is the sexiest car ever IMO....What ever happend to the one that was twin turboed anyway? Never did get to see thew completed project from a few tears ago.
