Meziere pump and Champ alt. only bracket

Anyone run this setup? Not sure if the belt will clear the pump. Also can a serpentine belt be used on the very short run?

Yes,

I recently removed the stock AC accessory bracket and belt tensioner and went with the Champion bracket (and a really short serpentine belt). I am only driving the alternator. It clears the water pump just fine.

Thanks forthe info. Hated to order all the parts and have he belt rub.
