MASS AIR ON 85 hot air

does the 85 hot air cars come with mass air meters or is it just an intake.. i bought my motor it didnt have one, im just wondering if i have to get one..

YES they use Mass flow meters. If you convert to the 86-87 ecm your better off using one for them. If your using the 84-85 ecm the meter goes on the end of the fresh air tube that attaches to the throttle body.

Make sure to match the MAF to the year computer you're using. If you run the 84-85 MAF with the 86-87 computer it will run rich all the time.

mass air sensor is in the middle of that black inlet air pipe that hooks up to the throttle body
