main stud Q

installing main studs in my motor and arp says to have the mains line honed, just wondering if anybody has gotten away with not doing that or is it really important, want to assemble this weekend and don't want to wait until monday to put the block back in the shop, thanks in advance

I do not have all my blocks line bored when changing to studs, but I do check them with a dial bore gauge.Have found very few that have been in need of line boring.
