MAF translator

I have a maf translator with an LS1 maf, whenever I hook it up the ecm starts throwing a code 34 low maf reading but the ecm doesn't throw a code when the stock maf is installed, the gps reading is the same with both maf sensors, anyone have this type of problem before?
Also I sent the translator and maf back to full throttle and they tested both and they were good.

have it pluged in backward right? Are your switches inside unit set for your car ? Mine was plug and play no codes .

Mine is plug and play as well. What do you mean by switches in unit?

and you will see .do you have it pluged in right ? the plug can fit backwards and cause troble

I will do that and we'll see what happens, what exactly are the switches for inside? a setting for the type of maf I have or something?
