Ran 10.39 @ 131.6 today on MT 275/60/15 DR's.

1st pass was a 10.58 @ 131 with a 1.65 60' cuz I was spinning the first 100'

Only got 2 passes. 2nd was the 10.39. 60' was a 1.59, which isn't my best on these DR's, I've had a couple of 1.55's.

I've had 1.44's on my Hooiser 28" slicks, so this coulda easily been in the 10.20's had I have been running those today.

One more race left next week then she gets put away for the winter :( The slicks go back on for that one :D

Anyone else running DR's in the mid - low 10's ?

Congrats on the nice DR passes

My brother Alex (blackshoebox) has run some mid 10's on the M/T 275/60/15 radials with his Butang... Best 60' he's gotten with them is a 1.51.. Probably more left in the car considering his converter is WAY loose...

I know there are a few other Buicks that have been low 10's high 9's on the M/T 275/60/15s, few Stage2 cars (Cal Hartline, Dave Fiscus, Tony Gomes) have been high to mid 8's on the 325/50/15s, and Dusty Bradford has been low 8's on the on the 295/65/15s with his SBC Turbo Regal...

Nice work Clayton. I ran a set of the 235 MT DR's this summer at PIR, It went 10.42 @ 130 with a 1.80 60'

That is awesome! low tens... I quess those tires really do hook! How are they on the street? Congrats!!! :)

Very nice Clayton!! We have very similar combo's and this gives me hope :) but I've got to get to the track to do it though

Thanks guys.

These ones haven't seen a ton of street duty, but when they have, they've been pretty decent. I can still fry'em when the GT70 hits full boost. I've been very impressed with this turbo so far. Now if I could get this in a GTQ with dual BB option....... :D

It was only the 2nd time out on the DR's. Previous best was a 10.66 with a 1.55 60' so I was pretty happy. Woulda been nice to get a few more passes. Mighta been able to get the 60' down a little more. I did have a new best MPH witht he 131.6, so that was encouraging.

It's really great when you can run faster than full blown, full time race cars, and still go home with everything in tact.

what was the 1/8th ET and MPH?

I did a 6.6 @104+ with MT DRs in my buick. 60ft was a 1.52

Nice runs Clayton, It seems that the DRs are not so forgiving when track prep sucks. I raced Friday nite and couldn't hook, combination of the dew on the track and the imports making a mess of things I guess. I did run a 11.14@124 with a 1.82', 22lbs boost. I still want to try locking the converter and see if it picks up the mph. When are you locking your converter? Are you using your TCS 9" lu?

I can't remember what my 1/8 ET was, I think about 6.6. The MPH was just shy of 105......something like 104.8x. I'll have to check the timeslip tonight.

I locked the converter @ 105mph. That's roughly 5700 - 5800 rpm. I am still playing with this converter, but so far it has netted 1.44 60' times and almost 132 mph so it is tough to complain about its performance.
