Loud squeal for a sec at cold startup

Just as it says. It is only for a sec and never comes back.I pretty recently replaced the idler pulley and the belt but it sounds like it is from that area. Maybe a water pump? Sometimes it seems there is a slight kind of grinding sound coming from that area too. It's wierd though that it only last like a second then gone and never comes back again till its cold again. Any thoughts?

Remove belt and see if it still does it.

Check the length of the new belt. If it is 640k6 (64", 6 rib) it will squeal. You need a 635K6. Not all manufacturers offer that size and will list the longer belt.
