Lost Reverse!

Back my GN out of the garage to go pick up the kids at school and everything was fine. When I got to school I no longer had reverse. Every other gear feels the same. So now I have two neutrals and four forward gears. Any ideas?

Yes, yes, and about 5,000 miles since fluid/filter change.

Not likely to be a linkage issue if you can put it in Park. If you have third gear then the Direct Clutch is stil working. Possible that the Low-Reverse Clutch has a problem.

Try this. With the Shifter in 2, roll along about 10-15 mph. Let off the gas and pull the shifter back into 1. Do you feel the added engine braking decelerating the car? Should be rather prevalent.

Just went out and there is definitely engine braking when I put back down to 1st.

Time to break out a pressure gauge to see what that's doing.
