loss of power..........

The butt dyno is deceiving. My quicker car doesnt spin the tires unless i drive like an ass and its about 3 seconds faster than most of what you see for "high performance" offerings on the street in any given day

...duly noted; it just seems odd to me. If it were the cam sensor I really don't believe it would run and drive as good as it does under normal driving conditions.....

That is correct. The fuel would just sit there for another crankshaft rev. Low rpm would be more noticeable if it was out 180*
