are there any reputably large (read, more than 15 employees total due to the ADA thing) engine or machine shops around Oregon that may be interested in having someone help out as an intern? I've a resume on hand, and could meet up....graduated from Rochester Inst of Tech as a machinist, in the Associates degree (all I need is an internship.......10 weeks of work to start with)...maybe going to Chemeketa this fall in Automotive Technology Associates degree with Welding certificate....Ideally I'd like to just be able to have a job, regardless of level, and work my way into having the degree sent by mail from RIT and then build my work history....I currently live in Salem, just minutes from downtown; but I dont have a car of my own yet (looking around for one..) PM me about the shops or what have you. I'd love to go up to Woodburn drag strip for the Turbo THunder thing and see what y'all run
